Keroka Municipality was established under the Urban Areas and Cities Act as a devolved urban authority within Kisii County. It serves Keroka Town and its surrounding wards, coordinating urban planning, revenue collection, and public service delivery. The Municipality works closely with the Kisii County Government and national agencies to deliver infrastructure, sanitation, trade facilitation, and community development programmes that improve the lives of residents and support local enterprise.
